My first post...

And possibly my last.  But I really like to start things and then just drop them.  Like books.  I have lots of half read books next to my bed.  I think it could be ADD.

Anyway, I was motivated to do this by my wife who called me at 10 pm last night from a bar and told me that she was going to create a blog because all of her friends had them.  And I could let her beat me to it.  So I created one.  She is welcome to share it.  In fact that might make it more interesting.  Or, I could copy stuff from other people and just paste it into my blog.  That might be both interesting, funny (to me, because others will think it was me writing it) and make me look real smart.

So the only reason I created this was to post some photo's from today's baseball game.  We played the St Johns 3rd/4th grade team.  Final score was 22-4, we won.  Game ended with a triple play by our kids.  The 2nd baseman caught it in the air (first out) and threw it to first who tagged the base (second out).  Then, all 8 kids ran to second base and screamed to the 1st baseman THROW IT, THROW IT.  He threw it, kind of like a bride tossing her bouquet into a crowd of excited bridesmaids (literally 8 guys within 3 feet of 2nd) and somehow one of the kids caught it and tagged second before the poor runner could get back.  (Unfortunately I did not catch it on film because I was yelling THROW IT just like the kids.)  To be fair, the other team's coach was yelling GO BACK, but his player could not hear him because we drowned him out with our own screams.
